At Create:Innovate:Armagh we aim to inform, inspire, motivate and connect.
We would like to offer 3 Creatives the opportunity to undertake one to one mentoring with a Digital Arts Specialist. This is an open call to creatives of all mediums including Photography, Film making, Print Making, Textiles, Sculpture, Poetry, Textile Design & Fashion, Ceramics etc.
Our aim is to enable artists to transform how their creative work is viewed, altered or enhanced using digital technology.
The selected artists will receive approximately 16 hours of one on one mentoring each with a digital arts specialist. We aim to empower selected participants with new skills, knowledge & confidence alongside showcasing and celebrating their work during exhibition.
Mentors include Dr.Robin Price, Paul Moore & Cathal McDonnell.Areas of skills development may include Augmented Reality/ Virtual Reality/ Interactive Media/ Multimedia/ Composition / Sonic Art. We will use pre-existing work from the selected Artists that’s viewership will be altered or enhanced using digital technology.
The developed work created as part of this project will be exhibited in a Pop-Up Exhibition in Studio 1 at the Market Place Theatre & Arts Centre from March 12th-15th 2019.
Submission Deadline is Wednesday the 9th of January at Midday

-Selected Artists will notified by Monday the 14th of January 2019
-It is proposed that mentorship will take place at the Amma Centre, Armagh on any of the following dates
Thursday the 31st of Jan, Thursday 7th Feb, Thursday the 14th Feb, 21st Feb & Thursday the 28th of Feb. Times TBC on selection.These dates may vary depending on availability of the Mentor, chosen Artist’s & workspace for use
-Pop up Exhibition-12th-15th March in Studio 1 at the Marketplace Theatre & Arts Centre
(Exhibition set up on Monday 11th/Take down Friday the 16th)
-Exhibition launch & celebration, date TBC
